MCA Tricky Clarifies Milele FM Exit, Reveals He Was Fired While In Germany Comedian and media personality MCA Tricky (Francis Munyao) has refuted claims that he voluntarily resigned from Milele FM, revealing he was terminated via email while attending an engineering program in Germany. Speaking on the Tubonge podcast, the presenter—who worked at the Mediamax-owned station for six years following his joining in June 2020—explained that his departure was unexpected and initiated by management. Key Details of the Departure - Reason for Travel: A trained mechatronics engineer, MCA Tricky secured a three-month engineering exchange program in Germany to advance his master’s degree studies. - Formal Leave Request: Prior to his departure, he formally requested unpaid leave and submitted his official invitation letter to station management. - Termination via Email: Rather than receiving a phone call or face-to-face discussion, Tricky discovered he had been let go upon checking his email while in Germany. - Station’s Justification: According to the presenter, the email cited financial challenges linked to his absence as the rationale for ending his contract.
