Max George pays moving tribute after death of Dolly Parton at home in Nashville The Wanted's Max George was seen paying a moving tribute to coutnry legend Dolly Parton at the late star's home Max George has been flooded with messages from fans as he was seen paying a moving tribute to Dolly Parton at the star's home in Nashville, Tennessee, following her sad death. The country music icon's passing, at the age of 80, was announced by her nephew, Bryan Seaver, who also served as her head of security, on August 25. He said in a video shared on social media that it was "an honour that is mixed with absolute pride and great sadness" to share the news of her death, adding: "But sadness lies with us, not with Dolly. "Dolly has lived in the light and is in the arms of Jesus, surely met by Carl, her parents and countless others who have watched her and longed to meet her in the heavens." Parton's publicist, Marcel Pariseau, later said she died after a "brief battle with cancer" and has since been laid to rest following a private family funeral. The Jolene singer was buried at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Tennessee, reportedly alongside her late husband Carl Dean, who died last year, aged 82. The Wanted star Max has since found himself in Nashville following Parton's passing and has been seen paying his respects outside her home, a 23-room estate in Brentwood, Tennessee, after fans flocked to the gates of the property to lay flowers, leave cards and light candles in tribute to the star. It comes as Max and his The Wanted bandmate, Siva Kaneswaran, play shows in America as part of their new duo, The Wanted 2.0, which they say it to "carry the legacy" of the boyband into a new era. Alongside pictures of him laying a beautiful bunch of flowers outside, the singer, from Swinton, wrote on Instagram: "I will always love you, Dolly [heart emoji]." And fans were quick to respond. @lucylou2410 said: "That’s so lovely of you Max she truly was the best and a true icon." @pennystew70 commented: "Oh I love this. Dolly was so loved by all the world and especially to those of us in the Appalachians." @hsamuels75 wrote: "Aww Max, this is beautiful. Such a lovely tribute to Dolly." @ant_dec posted: "How sweet of you to do. You and Siva acknowledged Dolly at the LA show last week and I’m glad to see you made it to the memorial in Nashville." @itsamemegsy added: "An absolute legend. It must've been an honour to visit her memorial and pay respects."
