Руководитель Visit Hattiesburg Марло Дорси получила высшую национальную награду в сфере туризма

Marlo Dorsey, Visit Hattiesburg CEO, earns national tourism honor HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) - Visit Hattiesburg CEO Marlo Dorsey has earned the Certified Destination Management Executive designation, the tourism industry’s highest individual educational achievement. Dorsey was recognized as part of the 2026 CDME class during Destinations International’s annual convention in Portland, Oregon. She completed two years of coursework focused on leadership, destination advocacy, sales and revenue growth. Dorsey said she’s proud to bring that knowledge back to Hattiesburg and continue working to grow the city’s visitor economy. “It’s been really incredible the last several years to see the change that is sweeping across the tourism industry all across the country,” Dorsey said. “And what I’ll say is that it’s especially incredible to have a seat here in Hattiesburg at the table to see the amount of growth that the Pine Belt has experienced and the state of Mississippi has experienced. So gaining a national credential during this time, I feel, has given me the opportunity to have maybe a few more answers to some challenges, some growing pains, so to speak, to be able to tackle a lot of the things that when I originally took this job that I never would have anticipated.” Find more information about CDME or Destinations International here.
