В Конференции MEREDA обсудят влияние выборов губернатора на рынок недвижимости Мейна

The Maine Real Estate and Development Association’s fall conference will focus on the governor’s race, as seen through the lens of the state’s commercial and residential real estate industry. Maine’s three gubernatorial candidates — Independent Rick Bennett, Republican Bobby Charles and Democrat Hannah Pingree — will share their perspectives on housing regulations, development and zoning, property taxes and growth. “Commercial and residential real estate are at the center of these conversations — from expanding housing opportunities and supporting local businesses to revitalizing downtowns and strengthening our economy,” said Shelly Clark, MEREDA’s executive director. “This conference gives each candidate the opportunity to present their vision and solution for these important issues.” The event will begin with a year-to-date overview of the economy from Kenneth Entenmann, NBT Bank’s chief economist and chief investment officer. The Abromson Center in Hannaford Hall at the University of Southern Maine in Portland is the venue, and the program is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 9 a.m. to noon. Breakfast and networking begins at 8 a.m. Registration is required and can be managed on the MEREDA website. There is a fee to attend.
