Лумбертонский масонский ложа №417 отметила столетний юбилей

Lumberton Masonic Lodge #417 turns 100 LUMBERTON, Miss. (WDAM) - Happy 100th birthday to the Lumberton Masonic Lodge #417. The city marked the occasion with a meal and a history lesson. The lodge was chartered in 1892, but the building, on Main Street in Lumberton, is now a century old. Leaders say the lodge was formed before the city was incorporated, and it has been a refuge for the community since it was built. Most notably, they remember serving more than 20,000 meals and housing more than 70 people after Hurricane Katrina. Today, the lodge continues to be a fixture, participating in community events and getting involved with the youth. “This lodge has been a hub to this city since its foundation,” said Chris Holzinger, secretary and past Master. “And today, we try to participate in all community events, and we try to support and help folks out in need and just try to support and lift up the town as much as we can.” Doors are open every Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with dinner at 6 p.m. and a meeting at 7 p.m. Want more WDAM 7 news in your inbox?
