These two also operate Kruk Cards, which sells sports trading cards out of Rochester. They launched the first Loc@l in September 2024. The new space spans 1,800 square feet and accommodates 120 people. A patio is under construction outside. Drinks dominate the menu. Five signature cocktails anchor the offerings, paired with a beer-and-shot list, wines, and seltzers. Twelve taps will dispense both traditional brews and creations from nearby breweries. The bar occupies the west side of Woodward Avenue, beside Frida Batidos' Detroit outpost. It stands opposite Sunda New Asian and Union Assembly. The District sprawls across downtown's northern edge. The Kruks envision this as a late-night destination. Diners finish meals at neighboring eateries along W Columbia Street, then wander over. That strip has swelled lately as fresh food-and-drink ventures arrived.
