Ковбой-комик Стив Тревино делится секретами семейного счастья и борьбы с ипотекой в Лейк-Чарльз

Life, love, and laughter with Steve Trevino LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - They say laughter is the best medicine. And we could all use a dose of stress relief these days. That’s why I spoke with comedian Steve Trevino, who is bringing his take on life and relationships to the Lake Area. “I laugh because people say jokes or skits, and I say no. It’s just a documentary. Things happen at home, and my wife and I live life, and we’re madly in love with each other. But we fight like we love.” And sometimes those fights spill out onto the stage. “See, my wife bought a house, and we’re going to flip it; we’re going to flip the houses. That’s the new job we’re in. Oh yeah, we’re the only people that are going to flip a house and lose money; that’s me and my wife.” He explains, “Well, I have frustrations, and I go, well, let me go on stage and share those frustrations. And when people laugh, I go, that’s my way of working through it; it’s me also relating to the audience and then going, oh, I’m not the only one.” In fact, Steve Trevino is known for comedy that is relatable to families around the world. “I think I answer a lot of the questions that we all have: how do we navigate kids in this new world, how do we navigate marriage in this new world? ”I’m driving back, right, and my wife says, ‘Are you okay to drive?’ I said, ‘Yeah, I’m good, but I could use a Red Bull or a Monster,’ and I turn around and she goes, ‘Raaar!’” Those are the moments that I know are very real.” And he says, he wouldn’t have it any other way. “I always tell people, when I can sit there and say the same things all over the world, and people laugh, what makes you think getting a divorce and finding somebody else is going to be any better? And it does make people laugh, and it does brighten people’s days and in some cases saves their marriage or gets them through cancer or gets them through a tough time.” And Steve’s other passion is supporting military families. He has an organization called Helicopters for Heroes that focuses on making their life better. If you’d like to see Steve Trevino live at the Golden Nugget, you can find tickets HERE.
