Entrepreneur and British TV broadcaster Laura Jackson has returned to host all four new episodes of CNN's multiplatform series “Seasons.” The first aired July 4 on CNN International. “Seasons” explores the shifting trends shaping global culture across fashion, travel, food, technology, design and art. Jackson previously hosted an episode focusing on the art of slow luxury. In the first of the new episodes, and across CNN’s digital and social platforms, Jackson highlighted the women redefining the luxury sector. Across three chapters — fashion, jewelry and design — each female creative offers a distinct perspective on what luxury means today. Jackson speaks to iconic actress Sarah Jessica Parker, who, as creative director of lab-grown diamond brand Astrea, reflects on a more conscious and considered approach to luxury. She then meets Uruguayan-born designer Gabriela Hearst to talk about sustainability and longevity in the fashion industry. Jackson also visits the home of the Global Creative Director of Swarovski Group Giovanna Engelbert, to step inside her creative world. Finally, Jackson sits down with celebrated interior designer Beata Heuman to explore how heritage, craftsmanship and individuality continue to shape our understanding of luxury in the home.
