Last chance to experience Enderby's Cardiff Miller Art Warehouse, as major exhibitions move to Milan, Italy Renowned art leaving town Art fans will have a few more months to experience major installations at the Cardiff Miller Art Warehouse in Enderby before the works make the journey to Europe. In October, five of the large-scale installations currently on view will be dismantled and shipped to Milan, Italy, for an international exhibition at Pirelli HangarBicocca. The venue opened in 2023 in a repurposed industrial building along the banks of the Shuswap River by internationally renowned Canadian artists Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller. Since its opening, the warehouse has attracted visitors from across Canada and around the globe. Combining sound, robotics, sculpture, architecture, and theatrical narrative, the duo's immersive installation art has been showcased at leading museums and galleries worldwide. "These works have lived here in British Columbia, where they have been seen by visitors from around the world," said Bures Miller. "Before they begin this exciting new chapter in Europe, we wanted to invite our local community to experience them one last time." The final day for the exhibition in Enderby will be Sunday, Nov. 1.
