The Swift Current lacrosse community is mourning the loss of 15-year-old Dusty Lee Paul. Paul, who was known to some as “Dusty Boy” and “Bing Bong,” was a member of the Swift Current lacrosse community, playing with both the Rampage and Wolverines. He passed away on Aug. 18, with the community sharing their heartfelt tributes. In a Facebook post, Swift Current Wolverines Lacrosse described Paul as kind, outgoing, funny and full of life, saying he became more than a teammate to those around him. The organization said Paul was a friend and familiar face at the rink who brought a distinct energy to the lacrosse community. “Dusty was kind, outgoing, funny, and full of life,” the Wolverines said in the post. The Wolverines also extended condolences to Paul's family, friends, teammates, coaches and volunteers, saying the impact he had on the community was difficult to put into words. Dusty Paul was the beloved son of Mike and Sabrina Paul and the younger brother of Shayla and Lane Paul.
