Initially the asking price wasn't publicly revealed, but a price guide of $3.9 million was later advertised. The home was listed for sale in April, although was later moved to an off-market listing. The home was previously passed in at auction. The co-selling agent, Matt Debreczeni from Ray White Sutherland Shire told the Illawarra Mercury the home had been sold to a family from the Sutherland Shire. Mr Debreczeni said the buyers liked that it was located on "a great street, a pinnacle street for the area, and has access to the water". Mr Debreczeni said the Flanagans had sold the home as they planned to upgrade locally. In 2024, Kyle and now wife Caity Airey made a key move off the field, securing their first home together. Their $2.65 million purchase was made off-market. They bought the Burraneer home from Caity's parents, Janelle and Craig Airey, a former director at the Cronulla Sharks. The mid-century, modern-style home had been bought by Craig and Janelle for $1.38 million in 2008. Set on a 662 square metre block, it has five bedrooms, water views and a pool. The last-placed Dragons will meet the Parramatta Eels on Sunday at WIN Stadium, the final game of their 2026 campaign. Earlier in the season, the Dragons and then head coach, Kyle's father Shane parted ways after a series of losses. Interim coach, Dragons legend Dean Young has since been appointed as full-time head coach for 2027.
