Kathy Nesbit Vacations, Inc. has kept the same office on Fort Myers Beach for more than 40 years. The company is family owned and works out of Santini Marina Plaza on Estero Boulevard, representing hundreds of condominiums and homes across the island. Guests arriving for a first visit and guests returning for a twentieth season book through the same local team. The company handles vacation rentals at Ft. Myers Beach across nearly every category travelers search for, including beachfront condos, bayfront and canal front homes, dog friendly units, properties with pools, and places a short walk from the sand. Stays run by the week, by two weeks, or by the month. Anyone who has walked into a rental that looked nothing like its listing photos, or spent half a vacation calling a manager who never picked up, knows what the cheaper option can end up costing. Every property here is managed locally, by staff who know the building, the association, and the vendor who fixes the air conditioning. A company spokesperson said, "We live here. When something goes wrong at three in the afternoon on a Tuesday, we are eight minutes away, not eight states away. That is the whole difference. It is also why close to 90% of our seasonal guests book with us again for the following year, often before they have even packed the car." Readers of local island papers have voted the company Best of Fort Myers Beach for vacation rentals multiple times. The office is open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closed Sundays. Guests who book direct receive the lowest rates available online for managed properties, with no add-on fees layered onto the total. A separate real estate arm serves buyers and sellers on the island. Booking a week at the beach should not feel like a gamble. Reservations made sight unseen through large platforms leave travelers guessing about cleanliness, about how far the walk really is, and about whether a human being will answer the phone in February. Four decades in one location tends to settle that question. Season inventory fills early, and the better units go first. About Kathy Nesbit Vacations, Inc.
