Netflix запускает перезапуск сериала «Берег Нью-Джерси» под рабочим названием «Оставшиеся»

There are some pop culture moments you just had to be there for, and MTV’s Jersey Shore was like lightning in a tanning lotion bottle. In 2009, a group of young Italians with big personalities were thrown in a house for a summer of partying, and they’ve been GTL-ing ever since. The reality series became an inescapable juggernaut of Jersey culture and eventually gained international attention, spawning spinoffs like Floribama Shore and Geordie Shore across the pond. That being said! It’s been nearly 20 years since personalities like Snooki, JWoww, The Situation, and DJ Pauly D were introduced to the world—and Netflix might pick up where they left off with a whole new crew of Jersey guys and girls. Here’s what we know about the reported Jersey Shore reboot, otherwise known by the working title, The Leftovers. What is Netflix’s Jersey Shore reboot about? Rumors of a potential Jersey Shore reboot started swirling earlier this year following the premiere of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation season 9 (which will be its final season). Those rumors were then seemingly confirmed when Deadline reported in July 2026 that SallyAnn Salsano—the creator of Jersey Shore and its spin-off, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation—was developing yet another New Jersey-based series, this time for Netflix. Previously called A Shore Thing, the series had begun using the working title The Leftovers. According to the report, the new show will follow a whole new group of friends in the Garden State who are “at a crossroads as they reunite to prepare for the first wedding in their friend group” and “forced to confront what growing up really means.” An anonymous source separately tipped off Deuxmoi with some alleged intel in August 2026, claiming that the reboot is already in production and started filming in a Manasquan, New Jersey, house. According to the tipster: “Originally, the show was described as a group of friends from NJ figuring out life as they grow up as 2 of the friends are getting married this summer. Since the original Jersey Shore is cancelled because MTV is over, SallyAnn—the creator of both shows— described it as that to not get backlash from the original cast.” They continued, “However, the show has now evolved to some friends from that group as well as other cast members.” Speaking of which... Who is in the Jersey Shore reboot? An official cast (or the show itself, lol) hasn’t been announced yet, but Deuxmoi’s source dropped a list of rumored names attached to the project, including Jake Weber (AKA Mr. New Jersey), Melissa Schmit, Erika Mendez, Antonella De Paola, Andrew Scarillo, Vincent Sciarratta, Courtney Dondero, and Real Housewives of New Jersey star Frank Catania’s nephew, Ray Minecci. The source claims that Ray and Courtney were previously cast in the Jersey Shore reboot that was supposed to happen in 2022, but it never came to life because of permit issues. Aaanyway, take this cast list with a grain of salt, because there haven’t been any official announcements from Netflix just yet. When does Netflix’s Jersey Shore reboot come out? Though the show is (reportedly) already filming, it might be a minute till we see it on our screens. According to Deadline, the show is in “active and ongoing development” at the streamer, but is one of the many unscripted shows that are “expected to be greenlighted.” Noted! Are any of the original Jersey Shore cast members coming back for the reboot? Deadline’s report revealed that the reboot is a “new project and unrelated to the previous Seaside Heights-set show,” so we likely won’t see fan favorites like Snooki and JWoww return. But…never say never! Anything can happen in Jersey.
