Доктор Джейсон Фарли назначен исполнительным директором Института политических решений при школе медсестер Джона Хопкинса

Newswise — Jason E. Farley, PhD, MPH, NP, FAAN, has been named Executive Director of the Institute for Policy Solutions (IPS) at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. He will also take on the role of Vice Dean for Policy and Health Systems Transformation, helping to advance the School of Nursing’s work across research, education, clinical practice, community partnerships, policy, and health systems. Farley will begin his term September 1, 2026. His appointments mark an exciting next chapter for the Institute and reflect the School of Nursing’s continued ambition to strengthen nursing’s role in shaping the policies and systems that determine health. Founded in 2023, IPS was created with a bold vision: to advance nurse-led solutions to health inequities and bring the expertise, evidence, and leadership of nurses more directly into the policy decisions shaping health. As inaugural Executive Director Vincent Guilamo-Ramos, PhD, MPH, LCSW, RN, ANP-BC, PMHNP-BC, FAAN, concludes his term appointment, the Institute reflects on the significant growth achieved under his leadership. IPS launched the Bridging Our Divide national campaign and the IPS National Health Inequities Survey, established the IPS Training Institute and the Nursing Science Incubator for SDOH Solutions (N-SISS), grew a national network of scholars, policy leaders, faculty, and strategic partners, and welcomed a landmark $7 million commitment from the E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Foundation. Now, Farley will lead the Institute’s efforts to turn nurse-led research and innovation into policy and practice, expanding the reach and impact of solutions that improve health and advance equity. IPS will enter its next phase with an expanded ambition: to become a national engine for translating nursing knowledge into policy and systems change. By connecting evidence, implementation, community insight, and policy strategy, the Institute will work to ensure that nurse-led solutions do more than demonstrate what is possible—they will shape what comes next. “Nurse-led care is delivered closest to the community and furthest from the policy table,” Farley said. “IPS exists to close that gap, turning proven models into the reforms that scale them.”
