Ветеран армии США из округа Джексон получил новый кровельный материал от компании Owens Corning

Jackson County U.S. Army veteran receives new roof from Owens Corning JACKSON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - It’s a great day for one U.S. Army veteran in Jackson County. Jared Pittsley, inherited a home in 2022 and it had some problems with it. “I realized that the roof had some issues and I’ve been trying to figure out how to get it paid, getting it set up and all that stuff, trying to finance and what not,” said Pittsley, the U.S. Army veteran homeowner. Pittsley served in the U.S. Army as he and his wife were both stationed in Texas and he completed a tour in the Middle East. Due to some unfortunate circumstances, Pittsley had to go a different direction. “I’m currently a full time college student because I injured myself in the military and am currently dealing with the consequences of that. I’m in the process of switching my career going from mechanic to medical field,” said Pittsley. When figuring out the details of getting a new roof, he was pointed to the program to apply to which was the Owens Corning Roof Development Project. “I am so incredibly grateful for both Bone Dry, Owens Corning, the Purple Heart Foundation for giving me this opportunity for helping me through what now is an incredibly hard financial time,” Pittsley said. Bone Dry Roofing is a partner with Owens Corning and are providing the new roof for Jared and his family. “Owens Corning has a vetting process. The candidates fill out an application. It’s submitted and reviewed by them and Purple Heart and that candidate is chosen and we reveal that we are able to help them out with a new roof,” said Jade Marsh, general manager of Bone Dry Roofing.
