Главнокомандующий Ирана заявил о победе над противником благодаря силе духа и кадрам

The Chief of Staff and Deputy Coordinator of the Iranian Army emphasized that contemporary warfare is a contest of resolve and stamina, highlighting that Iran has demonstrated commendable success in these aspects. During a ceremony dedicated to recognizing the achievements of the Army’s leading personnel recruiters, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari addressed an audience of commanding officers and officials at the Army headquarters. Emphasizing the nature of modern conflicts, Sayyari stated, “Today’s warfare is a test of willpower and resilience, and we have excelled in these areas.” He stated that there is a need to take pride in ourselves and maintain dignity, highlighting that they have faced an opponent with access to advanced equipment and technologies worldwide. Sayyari characterized the inability of Iran’s opponents to fulfill their goals as a triumph for the Islamic Republic, stating, “We have been successful in recent conflicts, evidenced by the enemy’s failure to reach its expected objectives.” A comparison was made to the eight-year conflict between Iran and Iraq, referred to in Iran as the Sacred Defense, suggesting that similar circumstances were experienced during that period. According to Sayyari, adversaries had confidently declared an ambitious timeline, aiming to seize control of Khorramshahr within a single day and advance to Tehran’s Azadi Square in just one week. However, their plans were thwarted as they remained ensnared in Khorramshahr for 34 days, signaling a complete collapse of their strategic intentions. Highlighting the significance of attracting top-tier personnel, the senior commander underscored that human resources are the paramount element in bolstering the Army’s combat effectiveness. In a statement emphasizing the significance of human resources, the official declared, “The cornerstone of enhancing the Army’s combat capability lies in its personnel. Dedicated and loyal individuals are vital in achieving our strategic goals.” Sayyari highlighted the enduring excellence of the Army’s personnel over the years, emphasizing their pivotal role in empowering the military to resist a heavily armed adversary during the eight-year conflict. He emphasized that, despite facing sanctions, these personnel empowered the Army to achieve self-reliance, equipping it with the essential capabilities to carry out its core mission of defending Iran’s territorial integrity and the Islamic Revolution.
