How was your weekend? Things have been kind of quiet around here. One thing I did that I really enjoyed was volunteering in the plant nursery in a national park on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge, in the Marin Headlands, where they propagate and cultivate native plants for habitat restoration. A friend has been after me to join him on his monthly shift over there, and I’m glad I took him up on it finally. We spent a few hours cleaning wildflower seeds with a very congenial group. It was fun, and the Marin Headlands being practically my favorite place in the world, I plan to make a habit of it. It took my eyeballs off of my phone and my mind off the news.
