18 Famous People Who Did Horrible Things, But Nobody Remembers Whenever you hear anything about ‘cancel culture,’ just remember it's not a thing. From comedians with terrible behavior to celebrities who committed crimes, not many had to face any kind of consequence for their actions. Especially if they're men. All they have to do is wait, and they'll be able to go back to normal in no time. But people on the internet are different, and many of them can't forget, no matter how big or small. So, here are some people from Reddit sharing famous people who did horrible things, but nobody remembers. Or maybe some people remember and don't care, which could be worse. Usher “Usher gave multiple people herpes, all while knowing he had it. Was sued and settled several lawsuits. Yet, he is on tour making millions for being a hot symbol. Yuck.” Mr. Movies “Tom Cruise criticizing Brooke Shields on national TV for taking antidepressants for postpartum.” Foo Fighters “The Foo Fighters spread a lot of dangerous misinformation about HIV/AIDS.” Ted Kennedy “Ted Kennedy left Mary Jo Kopechne in the car underwater and didn’t tell law enforcement for several hours.” Russell Crowe “Russell Crowe smashed a phone on a bellboy's face. I was a minimum wage worker and couldn't believe ANYONE would treat someone that way, let alone a lowly hotel employee.” Robert Kardashian "Robert Kardashian carrying OJ Simpson’s briefcase out of the crime scene right in front of police and the press, cameras and all. Then being declared as part of his legal counsel so he couldn’t be called to testify. Okay, it was his LV garment bag, it was not the crime scene, which was her condo; he was returning to his Brentwood home. And most importantly, it was not a straight handoff from Simpson to Kardashian, but was facilitated by Simpson's assistant Kathy with an awkward lingering hug, and much whispering into Kardashian's ear. Either way, my point still stands that some shady business was taking place, and that Kardashian was never a crucial legitimate factor in the defense team. That was all Johnny Cochran and his firm. Kardashian was merely retained as legal counsel to absolve him of the responsibility of being a witness called to testify." Post Malone "Post Malone picked up a cat during his Australia tour back in 2019, brought the cat with him on tour, and then left the cat behind. That cat had kittens in the Qudos Bank Arena car park, and my family still has two of them." Peter Yarrow "Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul, and Mary was a paedo and a convicted offender. When he died recently, this fact was conveniently scrubbed from any remembrance of him. I absolutely could not believe it - people would basically ignore me when I told them! On top of all this, he was pardoned by Jimmy Carter. A president pardoning a paedo may seem quaint now, but still another horrible and forgotten part to the story." Naomi Campbell "Naomi Campbell being besties with Epstein. What is sad is that's not even the worst thing she's done. She refused to testify against an African despot who had committed genocide. So she was subpoenaed. She showed up late and then complained about how inconvenient it was for her. According to Mia Farrow, who was the human rights activist who attempted to bring this person to justice, Campbell lied on the stand." Karl Malone "Karl Malone impregnated a 12-year-old when he was 20. The only reason he escaped charges was that the family knew that the arrest would ruin his NBA prospects and leave them with a 13-year-old mother whose father cannot financially contribute to her son's life. The family decided that they would eschew justice in hopes that at least Malone would give his victim and his child a better life. Malone would refuse to acknowledge Demetress Bell as his son and refused to pay child support until finally making a lump sum out-of-court settlement after a paternity lawsuit had a test determine that ‘Malone or a twin brother of Malone’ was Bell's father. Even after this, Malone would not acknowledge Bell as his son until after Bell had already been drafted to the NFL." John Lennon "John Lennon and how he treated his first son, Julian. Was neglectful, barely had a relationship with him, and then Yoko came into the picture. Made it worse. Then he had Sean, and it was like the best thing ever for him, even wrote that stupid song ‘Beautiful Boy’ for him." Chris Brown “I remember what Chris Brown did. I know so many musicians and celebrities who lost their careers for 1/16 the accusations.” George Lopez “George Lopez cheated on his wife after she donated her kidney to him.” Rihanna “Few people seem to remember that a high schooler was such a big fan of Rihanna that she made her own version of a dress Rihanna wore to a show and then tagged her so she could see it. Rihanna responded by trashing the poor girl and then siccing her millions of fans on her, who then proceeded to bully a CHILD over a dress.” Eddie Murphy “Eddie Murphy had a baby with Scary Spice (Mel B) and refused to acknowledge the child until Mel took him to court to establish paternity.” Conor McGregor "Conor McGregor. Violently abused a woman, then conveniently the victim had their home invaded by masked men, resulting in the victim’s partner being stabbed after the allegations were made. Definitely nothing to do with the allegation or that McGregor has historic ties to the Kinahan crime syndicate at all… Also punched an old man in a pub for refusing to taste his whisky. At least he’s so washed now that every time he steps in the ring another part of his leg breaks." Blake Shelton “Blake Shelton intentionally ran over a turtle that was on the side of the road.” Bill Wyman “Bill Wyman of The Rolling Stones. Grooming Mandy Smith from the age of 13 (when he was 47) and marrying her a few years later. Can’t believe people just sat back and let it happen. (Then the weirdness of her mother marrying his son!).”
