Pan-European frozen-food manufacturer Idak Food Group has completed the sale of Swiss potato and snack producer Kadi to Swiss investment firm Invision. The divestment follows Idak’s acquisition of the Toulouse-based Onoré Group earlier this year. Going forward, the Swiss group aims to concentrate exclusively on premium frozen baked goods across two core business pillars: bakery & patisserie and pizza & pizza snacks. Under the terms of the transaction, Zug-based Invision acquires majority ownership of the Langenthal-based company, while Kadi’s existing executive team retains a minority stake. Kadi previously formed part of Invision’s investment portfolio between 2018 and 2024. ADVERTISEMENT Operational Continuity Kadi CEO Yvonne Richard and the existing management team remain in their roles, to oversee ongoing operations. Christof Lehmann, former group CEO of Idak and a current board member, assumes the role of chairman of the board of directors at Kadi. The ownership transfer enables Kadi to independently expand its position in the potato and snack market, while Idak accelerates growth in the European frozen-bakery sector. Kadi specialises in chips and spring rolls, altogether producing around 270 products that chefs use every day in over 12,000 restaurants across Switzerland.
