Система ICIS обеспечивает автономную работу и гибкую конфигурацию для мониторинга выбросов

ICIS Hardware Example: given ppm values and flow rates, the ICIS will calculate lbs/hr lbs/mmBtu, lbs/month, tons/day, tons/year, etc. Required averages are calculated and stored. Violations are flagged and counted. Each data record on the ICIS has a corresponding "status" which gives the condition of the data. Common statuses include: - Instrument Failure (IF) - Monitoring Not Required (MNR) - Calibration (CAL) - Out of Control (OC) - User Disabled (UD) - However almost any flag is possible The system is factory configured to exact specification, however, changes to the configuration are performed through the DMCS software. PROM changes or program changes are not needed to realize operation changes. The ICIS has the flexibility to change as government requirements and end-user's needs change. PC-Independent operations: The ICIS stores all data and programs in battery-backed RAM. This provides automatic restart after power failure and allows on board data storage. Typically, calibration, alarm and periodic data can be stored for 10 to 20 days depending on the data reduction required. This provides protection against a PC or communication failure. This feature adds a significant level of reliability to the system.
