Звезда «Маленького дома в прериях» призналась, что была «пьяным другом» Джима Моррисона

How a 'Little House on the Prairie' star became 'drinking buddies' with Jim Morrison If you had to guess which TV star partied with The Doors frontman Jim Morrison before they were famous, you would probably never guess someone from “Little House on the Prairie.” But that’s exactly who it was. Charlotte Stewart, who played schoolteacher Eva Beadle-Simms on the hit series, used to live it up with the one and only Morrison. Stewart owned and operated an establishment known as the Liquid Butterfly, a boutique favored by the Los Angeles hippie scene. It was right across the road from Elektra Records, the label that had signed Morrison’s band, The Doors. “My boyfriend [is] the reason I got the store, Liquid Butterfly. My boyfriend was the manager for Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Crosby Stills & Nash. So I was across the hall, literally, from this big agency. And that’s where the Liquid Butterfly was,” Stewart explained on her “Little House” co-star Patrick Labyorteaux’s podcast, “The Patrick LabyorSheaux.” She continued, “It was across from Elektra Records, and that’s how I met Jim Morrison. I got to work one day, and Jim Morrison was standing in my store, looking out the window. He looks at me and he says, ‘Do you mind if I’m here?’” ‘No, I don’t mind if you’re here.’ And he said, ‘I just wanted to look at Elektra Records.’” According to Stewart, from that moment on, she and Morrison “became drinking buddies, and not just the two of us, but five or six of us at noon would walk down the street on La Cienega Blvd. and go out to lunch, have some drinks. Then he basically became my drinking buddy, because he didn’t want to drink alone.” “He would come into the store at five, six o’clock and say, ‘You want to go?’ And I said, ‘Okay.’ So we would go. Then he would get so drunk that I would have to drive him home,” she remembered. Stewart said that she “didn’t want anything from him. He was my drinking buddy. So I took care of him. And that’s how we happened to go on the road together.” The actress shared additional details in her 2016 memoir, “Little House in the Hollywood Hills: A Bad Girl’s Guide to Becoming Miss Beadle, Mary X, and Me.” Follow us on Instagram @WeArePauseRewind for all your pop culture obsessions.
