Фестиваль Hope Rocks переезжает в театр Bearsville и сокращается до одного дня

WOODSTOCK, N.Y. — The Hope Rocks Festival will move from Saugerties to the Bearsville Theater on a new date, Saturday, Sept. 26, organizers announced. The festival’s organizers, the non-profit Hope Rocks, said in a press release that the move to a new location and to a one-day event comes as the organization seeks to “consolidate costs and maximize presence.” This year’s lineup includes Grammy Award winner Mike Farris, who recently celebrated the 30th Anniversary of the Screamin Cheetah Wheelies release of “Magnolia,” which was recorded at Bearsville Studios. Additional performers include Gail Ann Dorsey, Brian Mitchell, Jim Weider, American Nomads, Dave Kolker Band, I Got A Rock, Carolyn Marosy, Orangatwins, Circus of Wolves and The Carrie Zazz Band. The event will also feature presentations by experts in healing and recovery, as well as testimonials that share the “power of hope and the potential for recovery.” “Bearsville represents so much history and has hosted some of the most recognizable names in the music industry,” Hope Rocks President and Founder Joe Defino said in a press release. “Though we are sad to not be able to host this event in Saugerties, we could not be happier to have partnered with Bearsville for this year’s event.” The Hope Rock Festival was last held in August 2024 at Cantine Field in Saugerties as a two-day event. Hope Rocks was “created to promote and celebrate recovery from addictions, depression, as well as social and emotional roadblocks to fully living a life of potential and self-discovery,” the release stated. “This festival was created to address and respond to these issues in a safe, community-based, stigma-free environment using music and arts as the conduit for healing and understanding,” the release noted. Admission is by donation. Tickets are available at hoperocksevents.com.
