Отложенный запуск: в садах экспериментальных насаждений Colorado State University появится травяной сад

Herb garden delayed but still in the works at CSU trial gardens Colorado State University is adding an herb garden to its trial gardens, likely later this year. Ground broke on the Julie and Barney Feinblum Herb Garden near the northwestern corner of CSU's University Center for the Arts, 1400 Remington St., in April. While university staff told Rocky Mountain PBS they hoped to begin planting the garden's first herbs in May, some wet weather and crew shortages this spring pushed those plans back, according to Chad Miller, an associate professor of horticulture and landscape architecture at the university. Most of its herbs should be planted in the fall, according to Miller. The site is currently home to some mulched beds. The garden — located just north of the University Center for the Arts' giant Campbell's soup can — was a gift from Julie and Barney Feinblum. Barney Feinblum is known for his role in the organic food movement, including his time as CEO of Boulder-based Celestial Seasonings and, later, Horizon Organic Dairy, according to CSU's website. The herb garden will join CSU's annual flower trial garden and separate perennial trial garden. More: We're all seeing that giant Campbell's soup can, right? Right?
