Креативное агентство Heckler назначило нового управляющего директора для студии в Сингапуре

Creative production company Heckler has appointed Jonathan Gerard as managing director of its Singapore studio. Gerard previously spent five years at VaynerMedia, most recently as senior vice president, regional head of delivery APAC. In this role, he oversaw the agency’s production and delivery operations in the APAC region. Prior to that Gerard was head of production APAC. Prior to VaynerMedia, Gerard held several senior production roles at BBH Singapore and MullenLowe. He began his career in film and television production before moving into advertising and directing music videos in New Zealand. In a release, he said he’s most proud of work including Nike’s ‘Hyper Court’, a global project developed in partnership with BBH Singapore that transformed basketball courts across Manila and provided access to coaches to more than 180,000 players in the Philippines. At Heckler, Gerard will be tasked with growing the Singapore studio and broadening its positioning beyond post-production. He will focus on storytelling and have earlier involvement in the creative process. “I want to shift the perception of Heckler to the centre for best in class storytelling, not just best in class post production,” said Gerard “I feel like this is a return to my roots as I love making anything and everything. It’s what drew me to join Heckler as I felt like I was so far away from the work and from being able to make an impact on it. So I want to blow off the cobwebs and get back to telling stories”. Gerard’s remit will also span studio culture and expanding creative capabilities and regional partnerships. The appointment comes as Heckler continues to develop its wider APAC offering.
