Порт Радикатель принял корабль с компонентами ракеты Ariane 6 для спецоперации

The Radicatel terminal, part of HAROPA PORT, has welcomed the vessel Canopée on 11 August 2026 for a specialist handling operation linked to the Ariane 6 programme. The terminal’s facilities, suited to heavy cargo, enabled the transfer of several launcher components between the vessel and a river barge. The operation comprised two heavy-cargo movements between the Canopée and the barge Obstiné. Arriving from Kourou, French Guiana, the Canopée carried several Ariane 6 rocket components, which were unloaded via the terminal’s RoRo ramp and loaded onto the barge for onward transport to the Ariane Group industrial site in Les Mureaux, in the Yvelines department. The operations were carried out by Roll Manutention Services, part of the Katoen Natie Group, and are aimed at maintaining continuity of Ariane 6 component flows between industrial sites in France and the launch preparation facilities in French Guiana. HAROPA PORT said the port call underlines Radicatel’s capability to support large-scale logistics operations for strategic industrial sectors, including the space industry.
