Hardrock Summit 2026 в Денвере отметит 250-летие США и 150-летие штата Колорадо

The 2026 Hardrock Summit with its celebratory Americana theme is bridging its love for U.S. and Colorado history while maintaining its international focus. The global gathering will run indoors Sept. 10–13 and outdoors, in its traditional tent, Sept. 10–18. More than 200 exhibitors are expected for the show at the Westin Hotel Westminster near Denver. This year, the summit has a unique backdrop: the 250th anniversary of American independence and the 150th anniversary of Colorado statehood, says Hardrock Summit cofounder Wolter Mehring. The sixth edition also builds on the event’s position as an important platform for outstanding specimens, premium gemstones, and high-quality jewelry. Visitors can discover jewelry from exhibitors such as David R. Freeland Jr., Wolfgang Vaatz, Cynthia Scott, Krivanek Jewelers, and Palm of Hope Jewelry Designs. For jewelers and designers looking for exceptional stones to work with, Hardrock Summit also brings together gemstone suppliers such as New Era Gems, Atelier Munsteiner, Pala International, Brett Kosnar, and Dudley Blauwet. Combine that with networking opportunities with dealers, collectors, designers, retailers, miners, scientists, and other jewelry professionals, and you can see why the industry enjoys the event. “This year is very much about building on that foundation and further strengthening the international community that comes together in Denver.… That diversity is really what makes the show special,” says Mehring. “At one booth, you might be talking to someone directly involved in mining exceptional tourmalines in Brazil, and a few steps later you meet a jewelry manufacturer from the United States or someone working with ammolite from Canada.” Red, white, and blue is the theme for this year’s special exhibition of the Original Denver Gem & Mineral Show, which is part of the Hardrock Summit. Renowned museums, institutions, and collectors will support the theme through specimens from their collections: Think Colorado stones such as (red) rhodochrosite from Alma, (white) analcime from Table Mountain, and (blue) aquamarine from Mount Antero. The exhibition also expands beyond Colorado with specimens from across the United States, such as benitoite from California, azurite from Arizona, moonstone and cleavelandite from Virginia, and topaz from Texas. “It’s a colorful way of celebrating both American mineral heritage and the incredible geological diversity of the country,” Mehring notes. Another show highlight is its speaker schedule, adds Mehring, citing Marco Schreier, who will share his extensive experience with the distinctive Caribbean gemstone larimar. “He provides context about larimar itself, its origin and mining, as well as how the material is processed and transformed into jewelry,” Mehring says. “Visitors will also have the opportunity to see this craftsmanship in action. At his booth, there will be live demonstrations showing how larimar is worked and cut, offering a close-up look at how the rough stone is transformed step by step.” The Artists’ Corner includes everything from watercolor paintings and drawings of crystal forms to highly intricate stone mosaics. A particularly special presentation this year comes from Scarpelli Mosaici of Florence, Italy. “The family has practiced the traditional Florentine techniques of pietre dure and commesso fiorentino for generations, creating images from carefully selected pieces of natural stone. They are also celebrating 10 years of being part of the mineral community,” Mehring explains. At Hardrock Summit, they will present two exceptional works: their treasured family artwork Ponte Vecchio and Washington Crossing the Delaware, a piece with a particularly fitting connection to this year’s celebration of American history.
