Happy Mammoth представила новый продукт Prebiotic Collagen Protein, объединяющий поддержку коллагена и здоровье кишечника

The Prebiotic Collagen Protein is touted as an evolution of Organic Bone Broth, which has gained a following for its benefits on the gut, bones, immunity, and wound healing. When the brand started thinking about expanding its line-up in this category, as well as looking for a more practical way of supplementing collagen, it saw a “real gap” in the market when it comes to combining collagen support and gut health. “Everyone was talking about gut health, but nobody was really solving it in a way that fits into a woman’s actual routine. At the time, there were no collagen products doing something meaningful for the gut. Most collagen powders were just collagen,” Cecilia Perez Gimenez, head of brand at Happy Mammoth, told NutraIngredients. As the gut is foundational to various aspects of health, including hormones, energy, mood and skin, Happy Mammoth sought not just to add a new SKU, but to cement gut health as a pillar of the brand. “We asked ourselves how we could take everything that was working and make it work harder, more convenient, and more portable, without losing the gut-healing focus. We saw an opportunity to lead instead of follow, and it felt like the right moment to really own that space,” she said. While Prebiotic Collagen Protein is designed with women in mind, particularly women navigating hormonal transitions where collagen naturally starts declining and gut health becomes even more important, the brand is seeing traction from male consumers as well. “Collagen support and gut health are not gendered needs; the reason why the formula works for both sexes is that it is built around core biological functions—protein for the body, fiber for the gut, nutrients that support skin, joints and digestion, regardless of who’s taking it,” she said. Differentiating from competition Formulated with key ingredients including hydrolyzed collagen peptides, inulin from chicory root and organic pea fiber, each 15g serving of Prebiotic Collagen Protein delivers 10g of protein, 11.1g of collagen, and dietary fiber. “Studies show collagen peptides can improve skin hydration and elasticity, reduce joint discomfort, and provide amino acids like proline that build keratin for hair and nails,” Gimenez explained. “But we didn’t want to stop at collagen alone; we added prebiotic fiber to support gut health because that’s really the foundation everything else builds on. When your gut is doing well, it shows up everywhere else—skin, energy, digestion, and even how your body absorbs the nutrients you are taking in the first place.” While there are other prebiotic collagen products in the Australian market, Gimenez is of the view that many lean on longer but not necessarily healthier ingredient lists, which comprise extra fillers, artificial flavor systems, and sweeteners such as sucralose or maltodextrin. As such, she has opted to use only natural flavours and natural stevia in her products. Prebiotic Collagen Protein is currently exclusively available through Happy Mammoth’s website. She believes that the direct-to-consumer approach allows the brand to control the full consumer experience, from education around the product to how the ingredients, dosage and results are presented, without the message getting diluted or oversimplified. “It also means that we get direct feedback from our customers, which shapes how we improve and expand the range.”
