Компания Sudvet расширяет международное присутствие, открывая офисы в Норвегии, Австралии и Шотландии

Founded in 2013, Sudvet develops botanical solutions aimed at reducing antibiotics and antiparasitic use in salmon farming. While the company works closely with many Chilean producers through its office in Puerto Varas, it is now expanding internationally, establishing offices in Norway, Australia and Scotland. “Disease pressure and antibiotic use remain some of the most persistent challenges facing the global salmon farming sector, and no single company solves them alone” said Sophie Ryan, chief executive officer of GSI, in a press release. “Sudvet's work on natural alternatives is exactly the kind of innovation and contribution that helps build a more resilient industry over the long term. By bringing Sudvet's expertise into the GSI network, it strengthens the connection between producers and the technical partners solving these hard problems so we can make progress at an accelerated pace.” “GSI is the only organisation connecting the global sector on critical industry issues covering sustainability, fish health and welfare and innovation. For us, especially as we look to expand, being part of a group that is committed to a long-term vision and to strengthening the sector’s sustainability is right where we want to be. At the table, working together to shape a more resilient industry,” added Marcela Delgado, chief executive officer of Sudvet. GSI’s associate member network brings suppliers and other industry partners together with its salmon farming members, with the aim of supporting improvements in areas including sustainability, fish health and welfare.
