G Adventures has introduced Stay Flexy Adventure Plans, a suite of three flexible booking options designed to give travellers more control over their money if plans change after booking. The Flexy, Flexier and Flexiest tiers offer varying levels of cancellation protection, Future Travel Credits and pre-departure perks, with higher tiers offering greater flexibility and added extras. G Adventures managing director ANZ, Sean Martin, said the options were designed to help agents convert hesitant customers into bookings. “That final moment of hesitation is often driven by uncertainty, rather than a lack of desire to travel,” he said. “Flex is commissioned at the same rate as the tour itself and is non-refundable, meaning commission is protected, making it a great earning opportunity for our agent partners.” Trip add-ons such as pre- or post-tour nights or transfers are automatically covered by an existing flexible booking option at no extra cost. “It’s designed to be a genuinely useful product for agents, not another thing to explain at the point of sale,” Martin said. The Stay Flexy Adventure Plans are: Flexy - 60+ days before departure: full refund, Lifetime Deposit kept on file - 59–30 days: up to 50% of tour value refunded, remainder subject to cancellation terms and Lifetime Deposit - 29 days or less: Lifetime Deposit retained, remainder subject to cancellation fees Flexier Extends the cancellation window and converts more cancellation penalties into Future Travel Credits.
