Бывший содиректор Studio71 Адам Бурстин возглавил WatchTime Studios в экосистеме MrBeast

WatchTime Studios, the recently launched production venture within MrBeast’s Beast Industries, has named former Studio71 co-CEO Adam Boorstin general manager. Launched earlier this year, US-based WatchTime Studios is a new creator-led label focused on developing and producing original IP that is not necessarily fronted by YouTube star MrBeast, aka Jimmy Donaldson, whose main YouTube channel has more than half a billion subscribers. The appointment comes around four months after creator-focused business Studio71, which had previously been owned by Germany’s ProSiebenSat.1 Media, was sold to LA-based creator studio and talent agency Fixated, which is backed by Eldridge Industries. At the time, Boorstin and co-CEO Matt Crowley left Studio71, which owns a US podcast network with over 100 weekly shows, as well as a content distribution arm that published 200,000 videos each year across platforms. In his new capacity, Boorstin will work closely with WatchTime’s head of content Jeremy Azevedo, who joined the company earlier this year. The appointment comes during a busy month for MrBeast’s production entities after it was announced that Corie Henson, the veteran unscripted exec who joined Beast Industries Studios as president in September, was leaving the company after less than a year. “With over 100 billion video views, top-tier consumer products, and a philanthropy arm that has helped millions, MrBeast is redefining what’s possible in the industry. It’s going to be an awesome journey ahead,” wrote Boorstin on LinkedIn. “Over the coming months, I look forward to reconnecting with creators, partners, colleagues, and friends as we bring extraordinary new projects to life.”
