Компания Five Rivers открыла расширенное производство в Корнинге, создав 75 новых рабочих мест

Five Rivers Manufacturing opens expanded Corning headquarters CORNING, Ark. (KAIT) - Five Rivers Manufacturing opened its expanded Corning headquarters Wednesday, Aug. 12 — a milestone for 92-year-old G&H Decoys and the three brands now manufacturing alongside it under one roof. The Corning facility produces G&H Decoys alongside Deception Decoys, Dogg Company, and Hebert’s Custom Decoy Rigs — all acquired by Five Rivers in 2025 — bringing four American-made outdoor brands into full production in Northeast Arkansas. Five Rivers Vice President Joshua Stratton said the location was an easy choice. “If you are going to be in the waterfowl and outdoor industry, there is no better place on earth to call home,” Stratton said. “The flooded timber, the rivers, the rice fields — the finest waterfowl country in the world is out our back door.” Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders attended the ribbon-cutting, calling the expansion a win for the region and the state’s outdoor economy. Duck hunting generates $4.25 million a day for Arkansas over its two-month season, according to the Arkansas Economic Development Institute. “Corning sits right in the heart of the Mississippi Flyway in the middle of the best duck hunting in America,” Sanders said. “Today, they’re opening a facility that will make it possible for G&H and Five Rivers to continue to serve Arkansans for generations to come.” Five Rivers invested more than $2.1 million in G&H’s purchase, relocation, and restart in 2024. The expansion is expected to bring more than 75 new jobs to the region — a recent job fair drew more than 300 applicants in four hours. Real estate broker Landon Wilson, who helped close the deal despite early skepticism, said Wednesday’s opening spoke for itself. “What I was told was, ‘It’s in the wrong spot, it’s too expensive, and good luck,’” Wilson said. “I think with us being here today, it proves that Corning in Northeast Arkansas is not in the wrong spot.” G&H’s roots stretch back to 1934, making it the oldest production waterfowl decoy manufacturer in the United States. The brand nearly disappeared in early 2024 when its former parent company filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Five Rivers stepped in, relocated the operation to a former Corning Walmart, and has since expanded into a second facility. Stratton said the company’s growth is about more than decoys. “Manufacturing is coming home to America,” he said. “And when it comes home, it doesn’t come home to everywhere. It comes home to the states and towns that open the door. Arkansas opened the door. Corning opened the door.” Subscribe to the K8 News YouTube channel.
