Ритейлерам рекомендованы восточные, винтажные и желтые кольца к сезону предложений

Proposal season—which in the jewelry industry generally refers to the period from late November through Valentine’s Day—is fast approaching. For retailers, however, the season starts well before a proposal takes place. Many shoppers spend months researching engagement rings, comparing styles, saving inspiration, and narrowing down their favorites before they ever step into a store. Today’s engagement ring shopper isn’t necessarily searching for something no one has ever seen before. Instead, they’re looking for designs that feel timeless, with thoughtful details that make them feel personal and unique. As proposal season approaches, these are the styles retailers should have on their radar—and in their showcases. East-West Settings East-west settings have become a favorite among shoppers seeking a fresh take on traditional bridal styles. By rotating elongated diamond shapes like marquise and oval cuts 90 degrees, this design approach transforms a familiar silhouette into something unexpected while maintaining the classic appeal consumers want from an engagement ring. The style works across a range of popular diamond shapes, including emerald, pear, radiant, and elongated cushion cuts. For retailers, stocking a curated selection of east-west styles provides an opportunity to show customers how a subtle design change can create a more personalized look. Rio Grande’s assortment makes it easy to start that conversation, with options that can be customized by metal, stone, and finish. Vintage-Inspired Styles Vintage-inspired engagement rings continue to resonate with shoppers drawn to romance, craftsmanship, and heirloom appeal. Influenced by eras such as art deco, Edwardian, and Victorian, these styles offer opportunities for personalization through details like millgrain edges, filigree, floral motifs, and decorative gallery work. For retailers, these elements create opportunities to highlight craftsmanship and storytelling—two qualities that increasingly influence today’s jewelry shoppers. Vintage-inspired details also can add visual richness and perceived value, allowing customers to find a distinctive design at a variety of price points. Yellow Gold After years of white metals dominating bridal showcases, yellow gold has evolved from a trend into a lasting choice for many engagement ring shoppers. Valued for its warmth and versatility, yellow gold complements everything from vintage-inspired designs to clean, modern silhouettes. The metal also offers an easy way for customers to personalize a classic engagement ring without changing its overall design. A traditional solitaire in yellow gold has an entirely different character than the same ring in platinum or white gold, making metal choice an important part of the customization process. Bezel Settings The bezel setting has become one of the defining engagement ring trends of recent years, appealing to shoppers who appreciate its clean lines, modern aesthetic, and everyday wearability. By surrounding the center stone with a continuous rim of metal, bezel settings offer added protection while maintaining a sleek, minimalist look. For retailers, bezel-set rings provide an opportunity to offer customers a design that balances beauty and functionality. They pair especially well with other popular bridal trends including yellow gold and east-west settings, making them a versatile addition to any engagement ring assortment. Whether customers are searching for a contemporary east-west solitaire, a romantic vintage-inspired setting, or a sleek bezel design, Rio Grande offers finished engagement rings and customizable options to help retailers meet demand throughout proposal season. By stocking styles shoppers are already seeking, retailers can spend less time sourcing and more time helping couples find a ring they’ll love for a lifetime. Find trending styles at Rio Grande.
