Last week, Dreams opened its doors to its 225th UK store at Manchester Fort Shopping Park, bringing its nationwide store network to a milestone 225 locations. With Manchester Pride just around the corner, Dreams gave its arrival in the city a distinctly fabulous twist. To celebrate, Dreams has launched its ‘Sleep Like a Queen’ campaign, putting beauty sleep firmly in the spotlight ahead of one of Manchester’s biggest and most colourful weekends of the year. Because while Pride is about celebrating who you are, turning up, standing out and dancing until the early hours, even the fiercest queens need their beauty sleep. The trio star in a playful series of social content that goes behind the scenes of Pride glamour - from getting ready and perfecting the look to those very necessary morning-after moments. Juno Birch said: “Manchester Pride is always an absolute ball, heartwarming but also chaos! It’s my hometown, so naturally I have to look as stunning as I possibly can. But between slapping on my make-up, performing and running around the Village in my platform heels, finding time to properly switch off and rest can be hard if your bed is like a plank. “A good night’s sleep makes such a difference when you’re doing it all again the next day. So I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining my fellow queens and Dreams to celebrate their new Manchester store and remind everyone that behind every fabulous Pride look is a queen who needs her beauty sleep!” The campaign has been created in collaboration with LGBT Foundation, continuing Dreams’ support for LGBTQ+ colleagues and communities while tapping into the spirit of the city it is now proud to call home.
