Новозеландский дистрибьютор Dicker Data заключил партнерство с норвежским производителем AI-камер Huddly

Huddly tech serves as perception layer for AI agents and tools in video meetings. Dicker Data New Zealand has secured a new distribution partnership with Norwegian AI-powered video technology provider Huddly. The agreement will see Dicker Data distribute Huddly’s full range of intelligent camera systems to partners across New Zealand. The vendor’s innovative solutions will help local organisations create more engaging and productive meeting experiences, said Dicker Data NZ AV and unified communications general manager Cat Brier. “We are pleased to welcome Huddly to our collaboration portfolio,” she said. As video continues to play a critical role in modern communication, businesses are looking for technology that is intelligent, easy to manage, and delivers a seamless user experience, Brier added. “Huddly’s unique approach to AI-powered video enables organisations to create more inclusive and effective meeting environments, and we’re excited to help our partners bring these capabilities to their customers.” Huddly chief commercial officer Fraser Park said the partnership with Dicker Data arrives as agentic AI becomes a deciding factor in workplace investments. “Meeting rooms are becoming the next frontier for AI productivity, and Huddly helps customers get their rooms ready, serving as the perception layer for AI agents and tools,” he said. “Dicker Data is a trusted distributor for Microsoft Teams Rooms solutions and collaborates closely with key Huddly partners including Lenovo, Barco and Shure, so this is a natural fit. Bringing those partnerships to life through complete, future-ready room solutions for New Zealand customers will be a key focus of our work together.” The addition of Huddly further strengthens Dicker Data’s position as the distributor of choice for partners seeking best-in-class AV, collaboration, and AI-driven solutions, Brier said. “Dicker Data’s customer-first approach, deep technical expertise, and extensive partner network ensure that resellers can access the latest innovations and tailored support to drive business growth.” According to Huddly, its AI-powered video and audio solutions are scalable and are designed for spaces of all sizes, from huddle rooms to large boardrooms. Modular hardware and upgradable software make deployment, use, and scaling simple and future-proof, the company added. The range is Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet certified, and includes the Crew multi-camera system which the vendor says offers immersive meeting experiences in medium, large and multi-purpose spaces, and includes 3D spatial awareness for more precise and natural participant framing. The portfolio also includes the Huddly L1 network camera, which the company says provides high-quality video for medium and large meeting rooms.
