Dianne Buswell marks first of year as she reunites with Strictly co-star months after birth of first child The professional dancer is gearing up to return to the BBC One dance show in a matter of weeks Dianne Buswell has been seen excitedly marking a first of the year for her, just months after the Strictly Come Dancing star welcomed her first child into the world. The professional dancer, who won the BBC One dance contest back in 2024 with comedian Chris McCausland, welcomed her baby boy, Bowden, into the world back in March with her partner, YouTube star Joe Sugg. Their son's arrival came after the couple, who met on Strictly when they paired together for the 2018 series, announced in September last year that Dianne was pregnant with their first child, ahead of her return to the dancefloor for the popular programme's 2025 series. Since then, both Dianne and Joe have been seen sharing updates on their new life as a family of three, including sharing regular Instagram posts and vlogs on their respective YouTube channels. But it now won't be long until fans see Dianne back in the ballroom, after it was confirmed in May that she'll be among the professional dancers returning for Strictly's 2026 series, which is due to get underway in September. And ahead of her return, Dianne has been seen enjoying her first performance of the year alongside her friend and Strictly co-star, Vito Coppola. Sharing a snap of them both to her Instagram Story, the new mum told her followers: "First show of the year for mumma Di! Of course with the help of the best dance partner @vitocoppola." It comes after the pair recently announced their new tour. Following the success of their 2025 show, Red Hot & Ready, their first joint-headline production, last month, the duo revealed their new 'Back in Business' tour. Alongside a video at the time, which saw Dianne getting ready to leave the house with a nappy stuck to her heel before meeting Vito in a lift, they said: "WE’RE……. BACK IN BUSINESS! Come Join us, for a night packed with incredible dancing, big laughs, and plenty of surprises along the way. We can’t wait to bring this brand new show to theatres across the country and share it with all of you. Who’s coming? Pre-sale starts tomorrow 12pm. General sale starts Friday 12pm.
