Вселенная DC: могущественные маги, чья сила превосходит технологии и физическую мощь

Magic is one of the most potent forces in DC lore, capable of subverting the fundamental laws of reality. It is wielded by many adept practitioners who command absolute authority to manipulate time and space. Notably, it can be employed in many ways, from intricate rituals to spoken words, all of which deliver immense impact. It can also be employed by various beings, from humble mortals to cosmic entities with significant mythological history. Their powers are either gained through relentless research or through ancestral gifts passed down within their respective lineages. They reign supreme over standard technological masterminds and physical powerhouses, striking fear into opponents ill-equipped to deal with their esoteric craft. 10 Morgaine le Fey Morgaine le Fey is an ancient, treacherous sorceress of Arthurian legend and one of DC’s most formidable Homo Magi. She is a descendant of the Elder Folk and is known for plotting the downfall of Camelot to spite her half-brother, King Arthur. Her insatiable quest for power also sparked conflict with the great mage Merlin and his bound demon, Etrigan. Sustaining her youth through dark rituals, she conceals her withered physical form beneath magical golden armor. She is capable of highly potent eldritch blasts and possesses both hypnotic and life-draining powers. She has a rich history with powerful demonic entities, but more recently, she is better known for her clashes with characters such as Wonder Woman, Batwoman, and Aquaman. 9 Felix Faust First emerging thousands of years ago in the ancient kingdom of Kor, Felix Faust is a notorious sorcerer defined by dark ambition. After a devastating defeat by King Nommo trapped him in another dimension, he eventually escaped by possessing a human named Dekan Drache. He routinely trades his tarnished soul to demons in exchange for forbidden knowledge and enhanced spellcasting. He specializes in soul manipulation and complex illusions, frequently manipulating both mortals and mystical beings for personal gain. His mastery over soul magic and resurrection has allowed him to orchestrate some elaborate exploits, such as effectively impersonating Nabu on one occasion. Although his schemes often backfire, Faust continues to pose a significant threat if left unchecked. 8 Madame Xanadu Madame Xanadu, originally Nimue Inwudu, is an immortal sorceress with origins also tracing back to Arthurian Camelot. She was the sister of Morgaine le Fey and a former student of Merlin, gaining eternal youth after a winning wager with Death itself. She is renowned for her peerless powers of divination, accurately predicting monumental events on several occasions. In order to make reliable forecasts, she employs her signature tarot cards, which channel her magic. Beyond clairvoyance and precognition, Xanadu boasts formidable elemental spells, telekinesis, and complete immortality. She served as a founding member of Justice League Dark and even famously guided the nigh-omnipotent Spectre as his spiritual advisor. 7 Circe Circe is a goddess-level sorceress who stands as one of Wonder Woman’s most formidable foes. She was a princess of Colchis who was exiled and later received a portion of the goddess Hecate’s soul, granting her vast magical authority. Driven by vengeance, she famously transforms her enemies into monstrous animals and derives joy from sowing discord between men and women. Her magical arsenal extends to manipulating physical matter, necromancy, and illusion casting. She has amassed unfathomable power throughout her storied history and maintains a long-standing feud with the Amazons. She famously usurped Hecate’s title as the Goddess of Magic during The Witching Hour saga, which to this day remains one of her standout achievements. 6 Enchantress Enchantress is a powerful extra-dimensional entity bound to the regular freelance artist June Moone. June consistently struggles to retain autonomy, as the sorceress’s influence is too potent to subdue alone. When the delicate balance between the two psyches fractures, it is fully capable of triggering catastrophic events across the entire DC Universe. Commanding nearly boundless magic, Enchantress wields high-level necromancy, reality manipulation to an extreme degree, empathy manipulation, and many more formidable techniques. In one of her most impressive endeavors, during the Day of Vengeance storyline specifically, she channeled all of Earth’s collective magical energy to empower Captain Marvel against the Spectre. 5 Raven Raven, also known as Rachel Roth, is the daughter of Trigon who was envisioned as a living portal for his interdimensional conquests. Despite her demonic heritage, she was raised in the peaceful sanctuary of Azarath, mastering strict emotional control to suppress her inherent darkness. Defying her apocalyptic birthright, she fled to Earth and became a cornerstone of the Teen Titans. In combat, Raven is one of the group’s most formidable fighters, wielding an unmatched repertoire of dark magic. She can perform astral projection, manipulate darkness, use telekinesis, teleport, and much more. Despite her best efforts, her emotions aren’t always under control, and should she surrender to her inner demon, her magic is chaotically amplified to godlike proportions. 4 Zatanna Zatanna is the daughter of the legendary sorcerer Giovanni Zatara and a descendant of the Homo Magi race. She is publicly known as a world-class illusionist, but less famously serves as one of the world’s premier defenders against mystical threats. She is a master of the mystic arts and one of the Justice League’s most valuable assets. Her signature power lies in Logomancy, which entails casting potent spells by speaking incantations backward. From manipulating elemental forces to hypnosis, telekinesis, reality warping, and so on, Zatanna’s magical potential is virtually limitless. Her powers are, however, linked to her level of confidence, meaning mental instability could prove especially fatal for her in the heat of battle. 3 John Constantine Hailing from Liverpool, England, John Constantine is the quintessential working-class occult detective. He sports a highly antisocial personality, with a tragic backstory that has led him to become a master con artist and trickster. While he doesn’t necessarily possess significant raw magical power, his tactical acumen means he is able to outsmart some of the strongest beings in the universe. He efficiently takes advantage of every resource at his disposal, employing relatively low-level spells to great effect or temporarily acquiring immense power through cunning means. He was also one of the founding members of the Justice League Dark, even serving as a leader. Under his charge, the team notably repelled several apocalyptic threats, including the Enchantress. 2 Mordru Predating creation itself, Mordru is one of the universe’s most ancient threats, wielding primordial chaos magic across millennia. Driven by evil motives, he notoriously targeted Doctor Fate’s mantle and murdered Agents of Order to monopolize mystic power. As he lacks a physical form of his own, he relies on hijacking powerful hosts to channel his immense energy. Mordru can utilize magic of various origins, including Atlantean Magic and spells derived from the River Styx. He once succeeded in plunging the Earth into darkness alongside Eclipso and Obsidian while in possession of Doctor Fate's power. Despite his terrifying power, he suffers from severe claustrophobia, and this weakness has been used to thwart him multiple times. 1 Doctor Fate Doctor Fate is one of the most prominent Agents of Order in the DC Universe. The mantle was originally held by Kent Nelson, whose life changed forever after coming across a special underground pyramid. It housed the ancient immortal Nabu, who was awakened and tutored the unassuming Kent, later granting him godlike powers alongside several magical artifacts. The most iconic item of the bunch was undoubtedly the shimmering Helmet of Fate. Nabu and Kent exist as distinct entities, and it is only by donning the helmet that Kent can access the Lord’s vast power. The mantle of Doctor Fate has more recently been passed on to Khalid Nassour, an Egyptian-American with his own rich backstory.
