A crowd of beachgoers gathered around the vehicle, which appears to be an electric car, after it was discovered on Polzeath beach on Saturday. Footage shows the car sitting helplessly on the sand with its wheels buried as seawater slowly moves in. No one was found inside the vehicle, leaving the unattended car at the mercy of the sea. It is unclear how the vehicle ended up stuck on the beach or what happened to it afterwards, as reported by NeedToKnow. Footage of the bizarre scene was shared on social media, where amused viewers were quick to pile in. Someone said: “I could see a hundred of these in my feed every day and never get bored.” Another person wrote: “What a beautiful sight to see.” A third user commented: “Put it in a bowl of rice; that will save the battery. Done it with an old phone.” Join our commenting forum Join thought-provoking conversations, follow other Independent readers and see their replies Comments
