Даниэла Мики стала новым менеджером по мероприятиям Фонда парка Шалом

For Daniela Mickey, becoming the new event manager for the Foundation of Shalom Park (FSP) feels a little like coming home. A longtime member of Charlotte’s Jewish community, Daniela has spent much of her professional career creating programs, events and experiences that bring people together including several years right here at Shalom Park. Now, she is bringing that experience to the FSP, where she will help families, organizations and community members turn their meetings and celebrations into successful, memorable events. Daniela has more than a decade of experience in event planning, program management, marketing and community engagement. She previously spent five years as Sports & Fitness Coordinator at Levine JCC, where she developed programs, coordinated facilities and events, managed staff and volunteers, and worked with community partners. More recently, she served as Director of Consolidated Hebrew High School collaborating with clergy, families and Shalom Park partners to create engaging educational experiences for Jewish teens. Her professional experience also includes serving as marketing specialist for events & experiences at TransLoc, where she managed logistics, planning and coordination for more than 20 industry events annually, and as director of sports and recreation for the Jewish Community Alliance in Jacksonville, Florida. Daniela earned her bachelor’s degree in hospitality and tourism management, with a minor in business, from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her background includes project management, contract negotiation, venue sourcing, budgeting and event execution – skills that align naturally with her new role. As FSP Event Manager, Daniela will serve as a primary point of contact for events in FSP-managed spaces throughout Shalom Park. She will support with organizing meetings, Bar and Bat Mitzvah celebrations, receptions, family celebrations and other special events. From selecting and reserving spaces to coordinating room setups, audiovisual needs, caterers, vendors and other logistics, Daniela will help clients navigate the details from initial planning to the event itself. For Daniela, the opportunity is also deeply personal. She and her husband, Jonathan, are raising their two daughters, Margot and Cora, in Charlotte, and Shalom Park and the Jewish community have been an important part of their family’s life. Whether you are planning an organizational meeting, a milestone celebration or a gathering of family and friends, Daniela looks forward to helping make Shalom Park the setting for your next milestone occasion.
