Clyde’s and 2 Silos Brewing Co. have opened their first airport locations at Washington Dulles International Airport as the US hub continues to expand its F&B offer. The two regional concepts have joined the airport’s dining portfolio through partnerships involving the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, concessions programme manager Fraport USA and Air Ventures. American bar and restaurant Clyde’s, which opened its first location in Washington DC’s Georgetown neighbourhood in 1963, has launched a 3,200sq ft restaurant in Concourse D. The 150-seat venue serves American dishes including burgers and is open daily from 6am to 11pm. Meanwhile, 2 Silos Brewing Co. has opened in Concourse B near Gate B37, offering breakfast dishes, appetisers, salads, burgers, sandwiches and entrees. Its full-service bar features draft beers alongside wine, spirits, craft cocktails and mocktails. The restaurant is open daily from 6am to 10pm. Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority VP for Marketing and Concessions Jaimini Erskine said: “Clyde’s and 2 Silos Brewing Co. have quickly become great additions to Dulles International‘s dining program, giving travellers a chance to enjoy familiar regional favourites while they’re on the go. “These restaurants, especially the legendary Clyde’s, are part of our continuing effort to bring more of the region’s distinctive food and beverage offerings to the airport and create a more enjoyable experience for our passengers.” Fraport Washington Partnership VP Dominic Troilo added: “The response to these highly regarded local establishments has been overwhelmingly positive. Passengers and airport staff can now experience these true favourites first-hand at the airport, thanks to our partners.” The openings form part of Washington Dulles’ wider modernisation programme, which includes an expansion of its shopping and dining offer. Rappahannock Oyster Bar and Gatsby joined the airport’s F&B portfolio in 2025, with further regional concepts planned for the new 435,000sq ft Concourse E. Upcoming openings include Honor Brewing, MurLarkey Distilled Spirits Flights & Bites, Good Company Doughnuts & Café, Ellie Bird and Aventino. Washington Dulles International Airport served a record of more than 29 million passengers in 2025.
