Депутат Джованни Чискомани получил награду за отличную работу с избирателями в Аризоне

WASHINGTON DC – Congressman Juan Ciscomani has received the District Excellence Award by the Institute of Legislative Analysis. The award recognizes lawmakers whose voting records meet or exceed the limited-government benchmarks for the congressional districts they represent. Specifically, the Institute for Legislative Analysis’ District-Based Grading system “evaluates Members of Congress by comparing their voting records with an estimate of the political and ideological makeup of the districts they represent.” For the second consecutive year, he has  ranked among Congress’s most bipartisan members, underscoring his commitment to forging solutions for Arizona. My top priority in Congress has always been clear: listening to my constituents,” said Congressman Juan Ciscomani. “I have the privilege of representing an amazing district– it includes ranches, farms, mines, major manufacturing plants, military installations, a national park, part of Arizona’s second largest city and some of the best small towns in Arizona. Delivering real results for the hardworking men and women I work for is my North Star. It’s what drives me. Receiving the District Excellence Award from the Institute of Legislative Analysis is an acknowledgement of that commitment. I am truly grateful for this honor.” “The Institute for Legislative Analysis is proud to present Congressman Juan Ciscomani with the District Excellence Award for earning an ‘A+’ Grade under ILA’s District-Based Grading system,” said Ryan McGowan, CEO, Institute for Legislative Analysis. “The Limited Government Index is the first-of-its-kind system that evaluates each Member of Congress based not only on their votes, but also on the unique makeup of their districts. Congressman Ciscomani’s record shows he has stayed committed to advancing the limited government principles of the U.S. Constitution despite representing a competitive district where many lawmakers would cave to big government pressure. We especially appreciate his work to strengthen border security, protect taxpayers, and stand up for families and small businesses across Southern Arizona. Congressman Ciscomani and his team deserve credit for showing that limited government principles are not abstract talking points, but practical solutions tied directly to accountability, affordability, and a government that works for the people it serves.” On the House Appropriations and Veterans’ Affairs Committees, Ciscomani has championed national security, advocated for Arizona’s veterans, protected water resources, and secured vital federal investments for communities across the district. In the 119th Congress alone, he introduced 32 substantial bills, with 10 passing the House of Representatives. Local leaders across the district have praised Ciscomani’s tireless advocacy and steadfast commitment to elevating Arizona’s priorities in Washington. “Congressman Ciscomani leads by listening,” said Sahuarita Mayor Tom Murphy. “He has made it a priority to work directly with local leaders so he can better understand the challenges our communities face and maximize our opportunities to succeed. Whether it’s delivering for our local law enforcement, improving our roads, or supporting economic development, he has consistently been there for Sahuarita.” “Congressman Ciscomani has shown what it means to be a strong partner for our community,” said Marana Mayor Jon Post. “He shows how much he cares by listening our ideas, asking about our needs and making sure we have a seat at the table. Best of all, he works tirelessly to deliver real results. He delivers! The congressman has brought critical federal resources back to our community and that has made a meaningful difference in the lives of the constituents we serve in Marana.” “Congressman Ciscomani has shown that bipartisanship is not just a talking point – it’s how you get things done,” said Eloy Mayor Andy Sutton. “Our congressman works across party lines, listens to local leaders, and brings people together to deliver meaningful results for Eloy and every community in the 6th Congressional District. His ability to build bipartisan partnerships while keeping the needs of Arizona families at the forefront is exactly the kind of leadership we need in Congress.”
