Chelsea Peretti, known for her sharp comedy, often makes headlines for her candid statements, whether she is sharing her take on modern romance or weighing in on moral dilemmas. The comedian recently did it again with a brutally honest take on beauty that went viral almost instantly. Chelsea Peretti argues that accepting imperfections could make people feel less pressure to look perfect Recently, a hot take from the 48-year-old about beauty was shared on Reddit by PopCultureChat. Chelsea Peretti questioned what would happen if everyone simply accepted that they were ugly and moved on. Peretti wrote, “What if we’ll just accept that we’re ugly and move on? Isn’t that kind of a relief? To just be like, ‘Oh, this might not look good on me because I’m a little bit ugly.” “Everyone’s a little bit ugly. Even traditionally hot people are kind of gross,” she added. The Brooklyn Nine-Nine star made it clear that perfection does not exist in the world and that having flaws is completely normal for everyone. Chelsea Peretti’s quote went viral not only on Reddit but also on Instagram, where people shared all kinds of reactions to her brutally honest take on beauty. For context, the First Time Female Director star shared this statement during one of her stand-up comedy acts.
