Cayman Airways запустила услугу Refund Protect для возврата билетов при отмене поездки

Customers booking flights with Cayman Airways Limited (CAL) can now add Refund Protect to their ticket purchase - an optional service that provides greater flexibility and peace of mind when unexpected circumstances disrupt their travel plans. Customers who purchase Refund Protect along with their ticket become eligible for a full refund of their Cayman Airways ticket if qualifying unforeseen circumstances prevent them from travelling (such as illness, injury, or other covered personal emergencies) subject to the applicable terms and conditions available at www.refundable.me. The service is only available at the time of booking flights, and applies only to the Cayman Airways ticket purchased, not other travel-related costs, expenses or losses. Refund Protect is provided and managed by Protect Group, which has partnered with Cayman Airways to administer the programme, including processing refund applications and providing customer support. The service is now available for Cayman Airways flights across all markets and can be added when booking through caymanairways.com or the Cayman Airways mobile app. It is also expected to become available through Cayman Airways ticket offices and the call centre in the coming weeks. The cost varies by booking and is calculated as a percentage of the ticket value, with the applicable price clearly displayed before purchase. Its integration into CAL’s digital booking channels makes it easy for customers to select the option as part of their reservation. Paul Tibbetts, Executive Vice President for Commercial Affairs & Chief Financial Officer at Cayman Airways, said: “Our customers travel with Cayman Airways for business, vacations, family visits and some of life’s most important moments, so we want to make every stage of their journey with us as convenient and reassuring as possible. Refund Protect gives our customers greater flexibility when they book, and added reassurance should qualifying unexpected circumstances affect their plans. It is another way we are responding to our customers’ needs from the moment they make their booking, and we are pleased to partner with Protect Group to offer this additional choice.” Stuart Barclay, CRO at Protect Group, said: “We are proud to partner with Cayman Airways and support its commitment to a seamless, customer-focused booking experience. Making Refund Protect available across the airline’s online booking channels gives customers a simple way to add ticket-refund protection at the point of purchase, while supporting Cayman Airways’ focus on choice and convenience.” The partnership reflects a growing focus across the airline industry on reducing booking anxiety and giving customers more choice at checkout. The addition of Refund Protect further supports the airline’s commitment to delivering a convenient and customer-focused travel experience, while creating a new ancillary revenue opportunity through a fully managed service. Cayman Airways has served as the national flag carrier of the Cayman Islands since 1968, connecting the Cayman Islands with key international and regional destinations. The addition of Refund Protect further supports the airline’s commitment to delivering a convenient and customer-focused travel experience.
