Шотландский надзор за уходом рекомендует детским домам продвигать транс-идеологию

The Scottish Care Inspectorate is still advising children’s homes to promote trans ideology. In updated guidance, the watchdog recommends staff wear rainbow lanyards, use preferred pronouns, and signpost children to the controversial lobby groups Stonewall and LGBT Youth Scotland. Ideological language, such as “sex assigned at birth” and instructing staff to avoid using the phrase “boys and girls”, has been retained. The watchdog claims that exploring “gender identity can be beneficial for children and young people’s wellbeing”. ‘Red flags’ Independent social worker Maggie Mellon warned: “The guidance is completely founded on a false ideology without any evidence to support it. The Care Inspectorate is not relying on evidence as it promotes the transition of children in care in Scotland.” “They haven’t reflected on the Supreme Court or the Cass Review or any other research in terms of what’s good practice.” Susan Smith, a Director at For Women Scotland, added: “It’s hard to see why they have produced something that is so unbelievably inconsistent. This is supposed to be the Care Inspectorate but it reads like a red flag.” Single-sex spaces Last year, the watchdog was criticised for advising that if gender-confused boys or girls wanted “to share a room with other young people who share their gender identity, they should be able to do so as long as the rights of, and risks to, all those involved are considered and respected”. But following the Supreme Court’s ruling on biological sex, the new edition recommends that gender-confused young people should be given private bedrooms rather than sharing rooms in keeping with their biological sex.
