Журналистка из Кембриджа завоевала два золотых и одну бронзовую награду на церемонии вручения премий Нейбраски

Cambridge native Ginger ten Bensel had a big night on August 12, capturing two Gold Awards and one Bronze at the Nebraska Broadcasters’ Association annual awards banquet. She won three of the five awards taken home by the crew at NTV News. Her accolades of the night came with a Gold and a Bronze award in the Service to Agriculture division, and a Gold in the Service to Children category, thanks to her story on Cambridge school kids learning about how cow stomachs work. The kids, and ten Bensel, capped the story by reaching elbow deep into a hole on the side of the fistulated steer. NTV’s Randy Silver (second from left) earned a Bronze Award in the category of Service to Children and Chief Meteorologist Tim Reith (right) won a Bronze Award for Best Weathercast. Television and radio stations compete against each other all across the state, regardless of market size. That means stories from Central Nebraska can win over stories from the Omaha area. You can catch ten Bensel, Silver, and Reith throughout the week on NTV News, and on the station’s website Nebraska.tv, including all of ten Bensel’s stories from her ‘Ginger’s Journey’ series, which stretches back more than a year.
