Britain's Got Talent runner-up Robert White's life now including huge BBC role
Britain's Got Talent fans will certainly remember 2018 runner-up Robert White.
Although he missed out on the ITV crown, the musical comedian has gone from strength to strength since appearing on the talent competition.
He was a primary school music teacher at the time of his audition, during which he performed an original comedic song specially written for judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.
Aged 41 at the time, Robert also revealed that he has Asperge's Syndrome, Autism and Dyslexia, as well as opening up about being gay.
These days the composer continues to entertain the nation on his popular comedy tours. His latest string of UK shows are titled 'That Gay, Autistic, Keyboard, Tanktop, Comedy Guy!' and will kick off this October.
Tickets are flying off the shelf, with Robert even sharing a warning on Instagram urging eager fans to act fast if they want to be in the audience.
The BGT star is also making waves in the TV world. He was recently named among the writers and performers behind CBBC's new animated series, Pablo Next Level.
Set to premiere this September, it is a spin-off of the multi-award-winning CBeebies pre-school animation Pablo, which made history when it became the first animated children’s series to feature an autistic central character.
This new iteration is aimed at children aged between five and eight years old, and it is brought to life by a crew of young autistic talent. It will follow Pablo as he tries to navigate mainstream school.
A synopsis teases: "From rules that don’t always make sense to chaotic corridors, Pablo is navigating this unfamiliar experience one drama at a time, with a little “help” from his sketchbook diary, his book animal friends and a whole lot of imagination.
"Pablo may be autistic, but his comedy adventures are relatable to children everywhere."
Other notable names attached to the programme include author and autism activist Rosie King and stand-up star Joe Wells.
Fans keen to reconnect with the composer and comedian can follow his Instagram page @robertwhitejoke, where he frequently posts humorous clips from tour.
Britain's Got Talent is available to stream on ITVX.
Pablo Next Level is scheduled to air on CBBC and iPlayer the week commencing September 5, 2026.
