Программа подготовки парамедиков в колледже Бифорт получила национальную аккредитацию

BCCC paramedic program earns national accreditation WASHINGTON, N.C. (WITN) - One program at an Eastern Carolina college has earned national recognition for its paramedic training. Beaufort County Community College’s Paramedic Certificate program has earned national accreditation. The recognition comes after a four-year process and makes it the second nationally accredited program at BCCC. College officials say reviewers found the program fully complied with guidelines. The review included a site visit and a look at a yearlong class in progress. “This accreditation reflects four years of dedicated work by our EMS staff, and it confirms that our paramedic graduates are trained to the highest national standard,” BCCC President Dr. David Loope said. The program includes online and in-person classes to prepare EMTs and advanced EMTs to become certified paramedics. BCCC says the program has graduated 123 students since it began in 2013. The college says students have a 99.6% pass rate on the state Paramedic Certification Exam. The accreditation took effect July 15. The program will be reviewed again in 2031. Copyright 2026 WITN.
