Писатель Дэвид Портер представил мемуары с возможностью прослушивания хитов

Award-winning Memphis songwriter talks memoir MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - David Porter took the stage at the Memphis Rotary Club luncheon at the Pink Palace on Tuesday afternoon and answered questions about his songwriting career, which began at Stax in 1962. Porter’s memoir, The Soul Man: Life of Songwriter David Porter, breaks some new ground in publishing as buyers of the digital book can read and also play some of the hits Porter wrote with Isaac Hayes and more. Porter runs a nonprofit called The Consortium MMT that provides free master classes from people including Stevie Wonder for those interested in learning how to be successful in the music business. “You go through a program of six weeks. I have 130 plus videos of some of the biggest names in the business talking about the creative steps that they use in songwriting or music production or artistry. And it’s given to them in a structured way,” Porter said. Click here to learn more about The Consortium MMT. Click here to sign up for our newsletter!
