Aviation Specialties Unlimited (ASU), a provider of night vision solutions, announced that Jakub Dryska was hired as the company’s new territory manager for Europe and Africa. Dryska replaces Alexander Emmel, who was recently promoted to ASU’s director of international sales. “Jakub brings with him more than a decade of international aviation experience,” said Emmel. “He is well known and respected in the industry and throughout Europe.” As the new territory manager for Europe and Africa, Dryska will assist with international sales and business development. Prior to joining ASU, Dryska spent his career with AIR TEAM in the Czech Republic, where he progressed through several commercial leadership roles, including PART 145 sales manager, business development manager, and, most recently, director of key accounts. Dryska is from the Czech Republic and will operate from an office within the CET time zone. “Throughout my career, I have focused on developing long-term relationships with commercial, government, and defense aviation customers across Europe,” said Dryska. “My experience includes aircraft modernization projects, special mission aviation programs, NVG cockpit modifications, and managing complex business-to-business and business-to-government sales opportunities. I have also worked extensively with government tenders, NATO-related projects, and export compliance requirements, including ITAR training completed through the U.S. Embassy in Prague. I have built a strong professional network throughout Europe and look forward to expanding ASU’s presence across Europe and Africa.” “Because of his background, training, and experience in the Czech Republic, Jakub will be able to serve our customers in Europe and Africa with a depth of knowledge that is needed,” said Emmel. “We look forward to expanding our capabilities throughout Europe and Africa.” Emmel and Dryska will be at the upcoming MSPO Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce, Poland, September 8-11, at stand 6-C01.
