Группа The Rewind проведет финальный концерт года в винном саду Old Barn Winery

WEST JEFFERSON — The Rewind: A Tribute to the 80s will return to Old Barn Winery in West Jefferson on Saturday, Sept. 5, from 3-6 p.m. for what will be the band’s final public performance in West Jefferson for 2026. The September show gives local fans one last opportunity this year to catch the popular 80s tribute band in the area, a community that has become one of The Rewind’s favorite places to perform. “We are very excited to return to West Jefferson, a town that has given us so much over the years,” said bassist Kyle Lanning. “Our fans can expect a wild and crazy show full of nostalgia and fun.” The band’s popularity has continued to soar in recent years, taking The Rewind on a multi-state tour in 2026 that included a headlining performance at the 2,000-seat event center at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino alongside country music superstar Eric Church in January. Despite an increasingly busy regional touring schedule, The Rewind has maintained strong ties to the North Carolina High Country, where the band has developed a loyal following through performances at wineries, festivals, community events and concert series. Known for its high-energy performances, authentic musicianship and faithful recreations of the biggest hits of the 1980s, The Rewind delivers an interactive concert experience that has become a fan favorite. The band’s shows celebrate the music and culture of the decade with songs made famous by some of the biggest artists of the era. Audiences can expect three hours of classic 80s hits, audience participation, sing-alongs and the unmistakable sights and sounds of one of popular music’s most iconic decades. The Sept. 5 performance at Old Barn Winery will serve as something of a 2026 sendoff for the band’s West Jefferson fans. “We’ve had some incredible crowds in West Jefferson, and there is always a special energy when we play there,” Lanning said. “We want everyone to come out and help us make our last West Jefferson show of the year one to remember.” More information about the show can be found by calling Old Barn Winery at (336) 846-6060.
