В США вышла детская книга «Моя фиолетовое одеяло» о семейной вере и неизменных обещаниях

Inspired by a true family story, My Purple Blanket is told through the eyes of a young boy whose beloved purple blanket carries a meaning he does not fully understand until he grows older. United States - September 07, 2026 - Long before his birth, his family shared a quiet hope for a baby boy. His mother prayed and held tightly to the biblical promise, “Ask, and you will receive.” During her pregnancy, a friend gave her a purple blanket—not blue and not pink—because the baby’s gender was unknown. When the long-awaited baby boy arrived, the purple blanket went home with him and soon became his constant companion. Through trips, naps, childhood adventures, and the passing years, the blanket grew older and faded, but the comfort it provided remained. That simple childhood blanket eventually became a powerful symbol of something much greater: God’s promises do not wear out, grow old, or fade with time. “The blanket was never just a blanket,” Emordi says. “It became a reminder of a promise—one my family prayed about, believed in, and eventually watched unfold.” Written for young children and families, My Purple Blanket combines gentle storytelling with themes of faith, gratitude, patience, family love, and hope. The book is especially suited for family read-alouds, bedtime reading, churches, children’s ministries, Christian schools, and families seeking meaningful conversations about trusting God.
